OUR PRACTICE

Premier Infectious Disease Care is in Suite 204 in the Daniel Building on Aloma Avenue near AdventHealth Winter Park Hospital. We provide comprehensive care for viral, bacterial, and fungal infections with a holistic approach. From chronic conditions like HIV and Hepatitis to urinary tract infections, our patients appreciate how we interact with their primary care physicians, specialists, and family members.

OUR DOCTORS

Dr. Archana Shah started the practice in 2008. She completed her fellowship at University Hospital, Level I Trauma Center in Newark, NJ. She has been consistently named Best Doctor or Top Doctor since 2009. Dr. Ronald Gonzales joined us from Chicago. He completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Illinois/ Chicago. Dr. James Spain has been with our practice since 2022 and comes from the Penn State Hershey Medical Center Infectious Disease Fellowship program. Dr. Marieangela Canaan moved to Orlando from Miami and completed her Fellowship in Chicago at the University of Illinois. Dr. Lysenia Mojica joined us from the University of South Florida. Dr. Rita Nwanyanwu has been with our practice since 2018 and comes from the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital Infectious Disease Fellowship program.
