ABOUT THE DOCTOR

Dr. Diana Hussain completed her internship in General Surgery and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is double Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Hussain is also fluent in Spanish, offering a bilingual approach to patient care.

SERVICES

Dr. Hussain provides comprehensive services, including electrodiagnostic studies, joint and spinal injections (such as epidurals, radiofrequency ablations, and kyphoplasties), and has over 10 years of experience in BOTOX and other agent injections for various conditions, including migraines.

INNOVATION IN REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

With a special interest in regenerative medicine, Dr. Hussain offers the latest advancements in Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, exosomes, and image-guided injections using ultrasound and fluoroscopy. PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, where the plasma, rich in platelets and growth factors, is extracted to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal and regenerate tissue. PRP has shown promise in treating musculoskeletal injuries, joint degeneration, and conditions like tennis elbow and knee osteoarthritis.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Hussain is the current president of the Florida Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She holds hospital privileges at Orlando Health, AdventHealth Orlando, and Celebration Hospital. Additionally, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
