Our team of four highly skilled vitreoretinal specialists is distinguished by their board certifications from the American Board of Ophthalmology, reflecting their commitment to the highest standards in eye care.

Karl E. Waite, MD: A graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Waite completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center and furthered his expertise with a fellowship at the Retina Institute of Hawaii.

Gokul N. Kumar, MD: With dual degrees in medicine and business from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Dr. Kumar trained at Washington University for his residency and completed his retinal fellowship at Emory University.

Eric G. Feinstein, MD: After earning his medical degree from the University of Virginia, Dr. Feinstein pursued his ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary and completed his fellowship in retinal care at the University of Colorado.

Farhad Safi, MD: Dr. Safi earned his medical degree at George Washington University, completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves and Medical Corps, bringing a unique depth of experience to his patients.
