Food is love—and Orlando serves it up in creative ways. For a dining experience that feels like an adventure, try an omakase tasting at Kadence, where each dish is a surprise, or sit down at The Chef’s Table in Winter Garden for an exclusive multi-course meal. For something more hands-on, join a couple’s cooking class at Truffles & Trifles, where you’ll work together to create the perfect dish.

Looking for something relaxing and approachable? Plan your own progressive dining tour through Winter Park’s Park Avenue. Start with cocktails, move to appetizers, then switch spots for the main course and dessert. It’s like a foodie treasure hunt. Anytime I have friends or family from out of town I make sure we stop by Park Avenue for an evening to show off one of the prettiest places in Orlando.

If you’re both into culinary experiences there are a few cooking classes in town, but let’s shake things up with two options at Walt Disney World that most people don’t know about—and they don’t require a park ticket! First there is “Sangria University” offered every Saturday at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort open to adults 21 years of age or older, and you don’t need to be a guest of the hotel. Explore different sangria flavors, then make your own. Current pricing is $55 per person.

Also located at Walt Disney World, Disney Springs to be exact, is a pricey but delightful experience for Disney fans or budding pastry chefs. Amorette’s Patisserie Cake Decorating Experience is a special 90-minute cake-decorating lesson. Gather in Amorette’s Patisserie before the shop officially opens for the day. At the end of this class, you’ll have a sweet masterpiece to take with you. You’ll also receive a gift from Amorette’s Patisserie as a reward for your artistic efforts.
