Kicking off Black History Month at Magic Kingdom with Tamron Hall

The Magic Kingdom hosted a Celebrate Soulfully media event and we were invited! Let’s explore some of the highlights from the event, which included a very special guest, Emmy-winning journalist and TV host Tamron Hall. Hall’s appearance was part of Walt Disney World’s Celebrate Soulfully running all month long.

We started by taking an exciting journey through Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! From the vibrant sights to the soulful sounds, this ride brings the heart and spirit of New Orleans to life.

After getting splashed on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we made our way over to watch the parade. Tamron Hall served as the grand marshal in a special Celebrate Soulfully parade that honors Black culture and heritage through food, music, art and entertainment. The parade also featured popular Disney characters, lively music and dazzling displays.

In honor of Black History Month at Walt Disney World Resort, talk show host and Emmy-winning journalist Tamron Hall served as the grand marshal in a magical parade at Magic Kingdom Park.

We also had the opportunity to meet and talk to Hall! Did you know Hall is a big Disney fan? She shared special memories she cherish of her previous visits to the Walt Disney World parks. She also talked about how meaningful it was to have her family (especially her son) with her during this special event and emphasized the significance of diversity and representation for kids visiting the park.

Wrapping up the media event, Hall posed for photos with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. Now that is THE picture for any Disney fan!
