Real Orlando Weddings: A Fairytale Wedding With Amanda and Christian

In 2022, Amanda and Christian found themselves talking over social media after she used one of his BBMak songs on her Instagram story. A few months later, they decided it was time to meet in person while Christian’s band was performing at EPCOT.

When they finally met on that rainy afternoon, Amanda said it was “love at first sight.” They spent the next few days going for walks around the Disney resorts, exploring the theme parks, watching Disney’s nightly fireworks, and, of course, falling in love. “The Swan and Dolphin and the EPCOT area hold such a special place in our hearts,” Amanda said, “as there are so many unforgettable memories from where our story began. We were thrilled to be able to see all those special places during our wedding reception through the windows of the Swan Reserve’s gorgeous Vue Ballroom! It was the perfect venue choice for our perfect wedding day.” While wedding planning, Amanda unexpectedly lost her father.

She and Christian took a brief break from their planning before getting back on track, saying, “This is what he would want for us.” With the help of the Just Marry! and the Swan Reserve Catering teams, as well as the support of friends and family, the wedding was planned in less than a month. Amanda honored her father in a way that he would be proud of during the wedding. She and her family have an emotional connection to the Swan Hotel, as it was the place of happy memories of past family vacations with her mother and father. So, it was fitting they selected the Swan Reserve for their wedding.

Not only was it the perfect location where they felt at home, but also had magical views from the 15th floor ballroom overlooking the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” At the reception, the couple included surprises at every turn (like an ice cream display) and by the end of the night, the delighted bride and groom ended their wedding celebration in the most perfect way: standing on the Vue Terrace enjoying the fireworks from EPCOT, where their love story truly began.
